What is the People Tab and Why Use It?
The "People" tab in Whereabouts allows you to add additional users to help manage your business profile. This feature is particularly useful for businesses that require multiple individuals to update and maintain their listing. By adding team members, you can ensure that your business information is always current and comprehensive, as different team members can contribute their expertise and attention to detail.
Steps to Add People to Your Business
To add people to your business profile in Whereabouts, follow these steps:
- Login to Whereabouts:
- Access the platform through this link: https://whereabouts.tech/
- Access the Directory App:
- Click on the apps menu in the top left corner.
- Select "Directory" from the menu options.
- Navigate to Your Business Profile:
- Under your business profile, click on the "People" tab.
- Invite Additional Team Members:
- Click on "Invite Additional Team Members".
- Enter the new user’s email address.
- This action will send an email to the new user, inviting them to claim their account with Whereabouts.
Additional Information
- Unlimited Team Members: You can add as many additional team members as you like, allowing for a collaborative approach to managing your business profile.
- Future Feature for Access Control: Currently, all team members will have the same level of access. A feature to limit team members' access to specific sections is in development and will be available soon.
